Assembled from quality OEM factory original steel component, this cartridge latch assembly is manufactured for the Beretta A400 Xtreme Plus and 1301 Tactical 3-1/2" 12 gauge shotguns. This assembly includes the cartridge latch spring, button, lever pin, and lever spring. This assembly, once installed functions by carrying the live ammo from mag tube to the barrel. This assembled piece is perfect for your next workshop project or as an immediate replacement for a lost or damaged part.

Shotgun was letting shells out of the magazine tube and above the shell carrier when one shell was fired. This causes you not to be able to load a third shell. With some punches and a little bit of gun Knowledge this was a fairly easy fix.

My A400 Upland came with a small heavy to operate recessed button for the bolt release. I was able to make this product work. It now works effortlessly. Very happy with this product.

Turned my A400 xtreme 1st gen into a 2nd gen with this simple swap out. The original button is definitely not easy to use with gloves or cold fingers when chasing waterfowl in the heart of the season. This setup gives you the updates of the new gun at a very affordable price. Oh did I mention FACTORY Beretta parts not AM so everything fit perfect with absolutely zero modification to the firearm to make this swap work PERFECT!

Easy Upgrade for the 1301 Comp

This is an easy drop-in replacement/upgrade for the 1301 Comp bolt release assembly...installs in less than 5 mins. Same upgraded latch on the newer 1301 Comp Pro that provides for a more secure and easy bolt release, plus it maintains the previous unloading function but now requires lifting the latch vs pushing down like the original latch on the Comp.

Wanted a solution for the shell dump feature on the original beretta 1301 comp. I didn't like the way the aftermarket shrouds rattled around. This part does fit the older model 1301 competition models without any modifications.
