Description: Cylinder & Slide Browning Hi-Power Wide Extended Target Safety, Blue. This steel crafted Cylinder & Slide matte blued wide extended target safety is manufactured for the Browning Hi-Power semi-automatic handguns chambered in 9mm and .40 S&W calibers. This safety is 50% wider then the Cylinder & Slide standard extended safety and functions by allowing the operator to safely engage or disengage via the shooting hand.

Wider than stock and easier to manipulate. Dropped right in without any fitting when used with the MGW hard Sear. Highly recommend.

I love the Browning high Power! In my opinion the slide safety it it's only weak point. The stock one is so small it was the major reason I did not usually carry it for self defense, even though I wanted to. I came across this extended safety and thought I would give it a shot. It was delivered quickly and installation was a breeze. I did have to make a minor fitment adjustment as the slide stop was a little tall. A few strokes with a file and some quick blue fixed that quickly. I highly recommend the upgrade to the High Power. I can now carry it in confidence.

The original safety lever was difficult to engage and disengage because it was quite small compared to the extended safety which is much easier to use. It was a great investment. I would definitely recommend this item.

The original safety on the browning hi power has much to be desired. This extended wide safety is much easier to actuate but not unsafe. It did require some small fitting but was easy even for an inexperienced guy such as myself. Totally worth it.
