Description: MagGuts Ruger LCP .380 High Capacity Magazine Conversion (For Factory 6 Round Magazine), +1. Add one round to your six round Ruger LCP .380 Auto magazine without extending the magazine's size with this MagGuts conversion kit. The kit includes an Attached Hybrid Spring System, stainless steel follower, lock plate and locking block; and uses the existing magazine tube and base plate. The magazine springs come attached together for easy installation. The Attached Hybrid Spring System is designed without compromise and results in in a very space efficient spring that compresses to a super compact height. It allows space for those extra rounds while maintaining necessary force for feed and slide lock reliability.

This conversion is compatible with factory original Ruger LCP 6 round .380 Auto mags only, and is NOT compatible with Ruger LCP II magazines. Finger extension and flat base plates are both compatible with this kit.

Got two of these for my LCPs. I was more than a little sceptical these would function fully loaded after I installed them. If you seat one with 7 rounds in it it’s noticeably harder to rack the slide over the overstuffed mag. Enough that I worried about it cycling like that. But I tested them both many times, weak hand only, in two different guns loaded 7+1. Never failed to cycle and pick up the top round and fully chamber it. The Ruger factory 7 rounder works great too but it sticks out further. The 6 rounders with the Magguts mod keeps the super small concealability and gives you 8 rounds on board.

Works as designed, adds an extra round, loads/shoots well, no spring issues. However, it costs as much as an LCP II 7rd mag, so to be worthwhile, it should cost about half, as one has to manually install it, while a 7rd mag is ready to go out of the box

Purchased this to replace a shattered spring bc i could not find a new spring. Thought, "why not?" It would be good to have an extra round. Super easy to install and it operates well.
