Description: Desert Tech MDR 6-Position Gas Valve Kit. This 6-position gas valve kit is manufactured for the Desert Tech MDR bullpup rifles chambered in .223 Rem, .308 Win, 5.56x45mm, or .300 Blackout. This high quality Desert Tech MDR gas valve kit includes the gas knob detent spring, 6-hole gas valve assembly, gas knob detent, and .078125x.375 coil roll pin. The included components are all made from steel and installed into the gas block of the MDR, allowing for the rifle to have three modes of fire, including Suppressed, Normal, and Adverse by controlling the amount of gas passed through the valve. This kit is perfect for your next workshop project or as an immediate replacement for a lost or damaged piece.

The MDR has three modes of fire. These letter markings are found on the outside of the adjustment ring:

• S = "Suppressed" for firing with a sound suppressor
• N = "Normal" for firing without a sound suppressor
• A = "Adverse" for firing in dirty conditions or with low pressure ammunition.
