My favorite safety. Works great if you ride your thumb on safety. Very comfortable. Good snappy engagement surface with detent. Sear engagement requires fitting as with alll replacement safeties. Overall I like it and would like to put it on all my 1911s

Due to multiple hand surgeries, common 1911 thumb safeties were difficult to access quickly from the holster. The EGW unit has a slightly lower lever and is perfectly contoured for easy and quick access.
