Descripton: Remington Model 552 Action Spring. This black steel coil spring fits .22 caliber Remington Model 552 Speedmaster rifles. The action spring helps reduce recoil and returns the action bar assembly forward after cycling. This OEM spring is a direct factory replacement and is good to have on hand for an immediate repair to your worn or broken action spring.

Replaced all 7 springs in my Remington 552 Speedmaster. Had jams like 7 out of 45, after springs being replaced now am down to 3 out of 123, not perfect but definitely improved. Several of the old springs were shorter compared to new springs. Most notables were the action, magazine and especially the carrier spring.
