Description: Springfield M1A Composite Stock w/ Metal Butt Plate, FDE. This Springfield Armory factory original composite stock is manufactured for the M1A rifles chambered in .308 Win, 6.5 Creedmoor or 7.62x51mm. Made from quality flat dark earth synthetic polymer with detailed checkering, this stock features a metal butt plate with a USGI cleaning kit compartment and a front and rear steel sling swivel already installed for appropriate accessory attachments. This reliable Springfield Armory composite stock is perfect for your next workshop project or as an immediate replacement for a lost or damaged M1A part.

I am very pleased with this stock. M1A dropped right in with a tight fit. Looks great and i have my base color for painting to boot. Stock is probably a few ounces lighter than the wood/metal butt plate but i feel better knowing its a composite vs. wood.
I have not taken it to the range yet but foresee no issues or problems.

I wanted a light weight stock for my Springfield Tanker and keep the wood stock pristine! The Composite stock is a perfect fit! It makes the rifle lighter, but still controllable in rapid fire. Perfect addition for my rifle!

I recently purchased the composite stock for my M1A Tanker. Needless to say...it fits like a glove!
Delivery was slowed only by the Labor Day weekend! Fantastic fit.....looks great and the weight reduction is well worth it! I originally trained on the M14. Always have loved the platform. The Tanker is the perfect Battle rifle for me!

Installed this and a new composite handguard with zero modifications to rifle or stock. The weight difference from the walnut stock to this is amazing. Highly recommend ..... nice to have both the walnut and this FDE stock. Get one while you can !
