Description: Faxon 9310 7.62x39 Type 1 AR-15 Bolt, Nitride. This is a factory-original AR-15 replacement designed for rifles chambered in 7.62x39mm. Designed to MIL-SPEC specifications, Faxon pairs high-strength materials with enhanced inspection and a durable surface treatment. Each bolt is machined from 9310 tool steel, fully heat-treated, shot-peened, and Magnetic Particle Inspected (MPI) to help ensure material integrity. The bolt receives a salt-bath nitride finish to increase surface hardness, enhance corrosion resistance, and provide superior performance compared to typical phosphate finishes. "Type 1" refers to the .125 bolt face depth. The bolt features an installed "Crane" O-ring. Bolt lugs are chamfered to support smooth feeding and reliable function even under demanding loads and fast actions. The extractor is manufactured from S7 tool steel, fully heat-treated, and shot-peened per MIL-SPEC to ensure consistent extraction.
