Description: Marlin Scope Mount Base, Blued. This weaver style scope mount base is made from steel with a matte blued finish. The base will fit Marlin 915, 917, 925, 980, 981, 982, 983 and XT series rifles chambered in .17 HMR, .22 LR and .22 Mag. Two bases are required (sold individually). Mounting screws are not included. Marlin factory replacement parts are made to the highest specifications and standards. Don't get left without a spare part at the range, or get just your firearm back up and running with Marlin factory parts today!

The item shows as one but the description show as 2. I presumed that I would get 2 pieces because 2 are need but only 1 came. So it is confusinf. The mount itself is fine and works as it supposed to.
