The Marlin 70P uses a different firing pin from that of the Model 60. I had a difficult time finding one, but I thought about MGW, and hot diggity!
The pin is a reproduction that is made from a visibly thinner steel than the original. Nonetheless, I installed it in my customer’s gun (easy fit). The gun test fired with zero problems. Longevity is an unknown, but we know the original broke, so the new one can’t be worse!
