Description: Marlin Model 60 Trigger Guard, Black Models (Post '81). Manufactured from durable black polymer, this trigger guard is designed for the Marlin Model 60 semi-automatic rifle produced post 1981. The trigger guard houses many of the safety and trigger components. Rely on factory-original Marlin parts and accessories to keep your rifle in top shooting shape.

Some sanding of the trigger guard was necessary to get it to fit into the stock, but not a lot, and it wasn't hard to do. All the holes and openings are in the right places, and there was no problem adding the original trigger and safety parts to the new guard. The only real "complaint" I can make is that the material of this guard is lighter in color than the original guard, and has a courser texture for its finish. Strictly cosmetic, not functional. This is the correct part for my Marlin Model 60 which I bought new in 1986.

This item is marketed that it is a replacement trigger guard for the 22 rifle Marlin 60, but it does not fit in my Marlin 60.

Excellent original type replacement, I recently went through my Dad's old Marlin 60, giving it a good thorough cleaning and replaced the broken trigger guard, still shoots great and is in excellent shape.

I’ve had my grandfather’s Marlin model 60 tube feed 22LR Four years. The trigger guard was broken just behind the trigger so it kind of flopped around a bit. I looked for about 10 years for a new trigger guard with every company being out of stock. I finally got a notification that they were back in stock at Midwest. I bought it immediately along with the screw that holds it that was never there. My grandfather’s gun is back to being like brand new! I will definitely shop here again.
