Description: GG&G Mossberg 590 Ambidextrous Front Sling Attachment. Constructed from ASTM A36 steel, this ambidextrous front sling attachment is designed for the Mossberg 590 and 590A1 shotguns. The front sling attachment accommodates up to 1.25" slings and solidly installs behind the end cap of the magazine tube with the ball bearing detent.

Was looking for a front sling mounting solution for my Mossberg Shockwave and decided to try this out. Was a bit disappointed when I got it because the ratcheting ball that keep the mag tube cap tight keeps this mount from laying flush. I was able to rectify that by added a dimple in the GG&G mount to clear it. But the cap does not stay secure when using this. It seems the ball detent that's added to the sling mount isn't up to spec. I have it one extra star just because maybe some people may still find it acceptable?
