Description: Sig Sauer MCX Virtus Low Profile M-Lok Handguard, 16" DMR. Crafted from quality Mil-grade aluminum, this OEM factory original handguard with a tactical designated marksmen rifle design is manufactured for the MCX Virtus series of rifles chambered in 5.56x45mm, .223 Rem, and .300 Blackout. This premium handguard features three distinct coated color finishes including black, gray, and flat dark earth and comes equiped with a picatinny rail and M-Lok accessory system on the 3, 6 and 9 o'clock positions.

Legacy MCX to Virtus Conversion

I had previously replaced the original 5.56 barrel with a 300 Blackout, so, after replacing the upper on my legacy MCX all I had to do is add this handguard to complete the conversion to an MCX Virtus. Love the feel of the MLOK handguard more than the original Keymod. The larger access holes for the gas valve make changing the settings a breeze. The longer handguard, also, allows my bipod to better support the front of the rifle.
