Description: Sig Sauer M400 TREAD Charging Handle Assembly. This aircraft grade aluminum charging handle assembly manufactured by Sig Sauer is for the M400 TREAD. Boasting ambidextrous levers, medium sized latches and with a dual roll pin design, this genuine Sig Sauer charging handle assembly will fit most standard AR-15 platforms. This assembly is coated in black anodized finish to match the finish on M400 and AR rifles.

This is a great charging handle. The back is curved up so gas won't seep out.

.Highest quality. Operates smoothly, freely and without noticeable drag. I haven't measured the height but this handle's latch appears to have a little thinner, flatter profile and less bulky compared to other handles. This should be easier to grasp and beneficial to those using scopes, sights and optics mounted to the rear of the rail.

In reality, a charging handle is what it is. But having the dual latch release is nice. Why pay more for the same. Sig quality, performs perfect. Spring pressure feels just right for a charging handle.

I was on the waiting list and kept trying to purchase this ambi charging handle from the SIG Sauer site with negative results, it’s been out of stock for months.
