Description: Lancer Systems AR-15 Carbon Fiber Handguard, Octagon w/o Rail, Extra Long 15" Length. This carbon fiber handguard is 16.25" long. This lightweight hand guard weighs just 11.41 oz. and accepts M-LOK accessory attachments. The cooling slots provided aid in heat dissipation helping to reduce barrel temperature. These slots also allow the installation of accessory rails. This AR-15 hanguard also has a provision for a sling swivel stud, allowing a bipod to be attached. The handguard is a free float design comprising of a custom octagon shaped carbon-fiber handguard tube connected to the upper receiver with a 7075-T6 aluminum upper receiver extension.

Free float design ensures the barrel is not affected by pressure from the handguard, eliminating point of impact deviations
Low profile carbon fiber tube is as rigid and impact resistant as lightweight aluminum free float tube designs
Slots at 6 o'clock for an accessory rail and holes for sling swivel stud alowing a bipod to be attached
Fits standard 5.56mm / .223 Rem A3 upper receivers
The handguard is a free float design comprising of a custom octagon shaped carbon-fiber handguard tube connected to the upper receiver with a 7075-T6 aluminum upper receiver extension.
When using a handguard that extends over the gas block, use of a low profile gas block is required
ID/OD is 1.7″/2.0″
No sight rail, accepts 2" M-LOK sight rail

Note: Free float design installation requires the removal of the rifle's barrel and specialized knowledge in AR rifle disassembly / assembly. It is recommended that this part be installed by a qualified gunsmith.
