Description: Springfield M1A Gas Cylinder. This gas cyclinder is an OEM factory original part manufactured for the Springfield M1A rifle chambered in .308 Win, 7.62x51mm and 6.5 Creedmoor. The gas cylinder is inserted in conjunction with the operating rod guide and barrel band into the rifles operating rod. Produced from steel, this gas cylinder assist and maintains the piston to allow regulation of the components and the gas operation of the firearm during use. This component is perfect as a spare on the workbench or as an immediate replacement for a lost or damaged piece.
