Description: Oryx Rifle Chassis, Remington 700 Short Action, Black / OD Green. Improve the accuracy and ergonomics of your shooting experience with this versatile rifle chassis. Designed as an affordable alternative to the factory rifle stock for the Remington 700 bolt action rifle, this drop-in style chassis installs easily with no gunsmithing required. Made from lightweight aluminum, hard anodized to MIL Spec Type II specifications, the chassis features OD (olive drab) green polymer side panels.

With a specialized design for both range performance and hunting portability, this one-piece integrated chassis and buttstock includes a comfortable pistol grip and adjustable cheek riser. Bring your Remington 700 Short Action to the next leverl with an Oryx chassis.

  • Durable Buttpad: The rubber overmolded buttpad comes with one .25" spacer to adjust length of pull for the perfect fit.

Only recently have I been able to get out and test the item. So far it performs very well. The only draw back is it makes cleaning the rifle from the chamber difficult because of the high check rest. To get by this the cleaning rod has to be distorted or bent to make clearance.
