Description: Mesa Tactical Mossberg 500 / 590 / Maverick 88 12ga. SureShell Polymer Shell Carrier, 6 Shell. This SureShell Polymer Carrier system is designed for the Mossberg 500, 590, and Maverick 88 shotguns chambered in 12 gauge. Available in a six-shell configuration features shell holders injection molded from glass-filled polymer, secured to the receiver by a lightweight aluminum back plate with brass threaded inserts. The SureShell Polymer Carrier also includes an innovative dual rubber friction system that reliably holds shotshells in place.

Forend Compatibility:

• Factory shotgun forends, except "tactical" forends, often feature significant receiver overlap when the bolt is pulled back. These forends will need to be cut down or replaced with aftermarket "tactical" forends to be used with some SureShell shotshell carriers. Before you install a SureShell shotshell carrier, measure your forend's receiver overlap and compare it to the furthest forward point of the shotshell carrier. Then cut any potential overlap or interference off the end of the forend with a miter saw or a rotary arm saw for a perfect fit.

Note: It is recommended that all Mesa Tactical parts be installed by a qualified and trained gunsmith.
