I had a FreedomSmith trigger for a while but prefer this one. This has a great checkered texture on the trigger surface (the red safety section is about 80-90% of the trigger width and it's checker textured) that's a lot better than the FreedomSmith shiny-flat surface. Also, the safety "blade" here, being wide, is very comfortable compared to a narrow blade. I personally prefer this flat-face shape compared to the Canik original curved trigger. I will never give up this trigger, it's excellent. In addition, manufacturing is top-notch on this. As good or better than the FreedomSmith alternative. (The FreedomSmith trigger has less take-up than this Canik trigger, but to me this trigger's better shape and texture offsets that difference.)

The trigger is a little better than stock, but it has a dead feel after you hit the wall. It's not a positive fireing feel.
Perfect upgrade to an already amazing trigger

Great upgrade to reduce the pre travel. Break remains crisp and reset is short. Love the look and feel. If you have a DA please note it does not work perfectly. In my case I need to press check the slide after decocking to have the DA function work properly.
