Description: Springfield Armory 1911 EMP Firing Pin Spring. This Springfield Armory firing spring is manufactured for the 1911 EMP compact pistols chambered in .45 ACP, .38 Super, 9mm, 10mm and .40 S&W. Constructed from steel, this firing pin spring retracts the firing pin after the hammer has forced the firing pin forward, striking the primer of the chambered round. This part is perfect as a spare on the workbench or as an immediate replacement for a lost or damaged component.
