This OEM factory original mainspring cap pin is manufactured for the Springfield Armory 1911 pistols chambered in .45 ACP, .38 Super, 9mm, 10mm and .40 S&W. Produced from stainless steel, this component is inserted into the mainspring housing and functions by retaining the mainspring cap, mainspring, and mainspring housing pin retainer. This piece is perfect as a spare on the workbench or as an immediate replacement for a lost or damaged component.
