Description: Springfield Armory 1911 Front Sight (.280"). This steel cut .280" front sight is manufactured for the Springfield Armory 1911 style pistols chambered in .45 ACP, .38 Super, 9mm, 10mm, and .40 S&W. Installed onto the front of the slide, this iron style sight functions by providing a means for quick target acquisition and as a focus point for the user.

With minor fitting of the tenon this worked out great on an old Ithaca slide that someone had knocked the front sight off of.
