Description: Sure Cycle Stainless Steel Guide Rod System For Browning Hi-Power. Made from 303 Stainless Steel, this assembly is a completely serviceable system. By removing a 10-32 Stainless Steel set screw, this system allows for access to the detent and spring. This replacement recoil spring guide fits all Browning Hi-Power pistols in 9mm and .40 S&W. And each unit is proudly made in the USA.

If you haven’t shot your Hi-Power guide into oblivion yet you will. The question is did you find it again? If not then this stainless rod appears to be better than the factory one and slipped right in. 5 Stars for the quality of the rod and ease of ordering.

I like this product. I have a stainless Hi Power that I bought used and the guide rod was in poor shape. The Sure Cycle guide rod was a great replacement and seems to function very well. My only constructive critique would be that it doesn’t have the spring loaded ball bearing at the front of the guide rod to stop over travel of the slide. My suspicion is that this feature is unnecessary with adequate recoil springs. Good drop in part to refresh recoil spring cycling.
