Description: Surefire Carbine Spacer for Ryder 9Ti and Ryder 9M-Ti. This stainless steel RYDER 9 spacer is not a stand-alone product, but rather is designed to be used with the RYDER 9-Ti and RYDER 9M-Ti  supressors for added reliability by replacing the standard booster spring. The SureFire RYDER 9 Fixed Barrel Spacer is to be used for added reliability when firing the SF RYDER 9-Ti and RYDER 9M-Ti suppressors on a fixed barrel firearm, typically seen with 9mm carbines and rifles. This machined stainless steel spacer with short spring restricts the movement of the suppressor for increased reliability and inherent accuracy when firing suppressed. Simply replace the provided booster spring that ships standard with the suppressor and swap for the fixed barrel spacer.

This fixed barrel spacer replaces the piston spring, you simply remove the rear cap swap out the piston spring with the fixed barrel spacer and short spring and reinstall the rear cap. It took awhile for Surefire to introduce this accessory but glad they did. Now I can used my dedicated pistol suppressor on a pistol caliber carbine.
