The plug is designed to fracture and release the magwell, clearing your magazine chute, if the magwell is hit hard enough to separate it from the frame. This prevents damage to the frame and ensures the magazine well will not block the magazine chute if it becomes detached from the front strap but remains connected to the rear. This magwell kit includes: The polymer magwell, the polymer magwell plug, and a magwell pin. Rely on factory-original Shadow Systems parts and accessories to keep your pistol in top shooting shape.
