Description: Nighthawk Custom 1911 EVERLAST Recoil System, Commander, 9mm. The revolutionary EVERLAST recoil system by Nighthawk Custom uses a flat wire recoil spring, full-length guide rod, and plug that allows shooters to shoot a minimum of 15,000 rounds before the need to change recoil springs. The spring in the new Nighthawk / Marvel Everlast Recoil System maintains a steady consistent resistance from the time the slide begins moving rearward all the way through the cycle. The result is a less pronounced muzzle flip.

In the past, i have used only WC parts, but the quality seems to have gone by the wayside. This makes the fourth NHC recoil system i have bought. Quality is to what i would exspect. Great product.

I have three of the NHC guide rods in my 1911. Works great in all three. If you have never tried the flat wire recoil springs you owe it to yourself and your 1911 to try them out.
