Constructed from solid 304 stainless steel, this drop-in replacement guide rod with recoil spring is designed for S&W Shield M2.0 pistols chambered in .45 ACP with 3.3" barrels. This stainless steel spring with guide rod replaces the factory assembly and is measured to factory specification for a sure fit. The rigid craftsmanship of this assembly ensures that there will be no bending or flex, thus providing better accuracy and performance with each shot. Replaced my recoil spring in my Shield .45acp. Only because the plastic unit in original gun failed & didn't want to worry about future performance. Original replaced per warranty and I wanted steel, not knowing what factory put back in there. Came timely and works fine.
