Description: Stainless Steel Guide Rods Smith & Wesson Shield 9mm & .40S&W Recoil Spring / Guide Rod Assembly. Made from solid 304 stainless steel, this drop-in replacement guide rod with recoil spring is designed for S&W M&P Shield handguns chambered in either 9mm or .40 S&W. This stainless steel spring with guide rod replaces the factory assembly and is measured to factory specification for a sure fit. The rigid craftsmanship of this assembly ensures that there will be no bending or flex, thus providing better accuracy and performance with each shot.
