Description: Lantac Stingray Nonlinear Compensator .223/5.56mm, 1/2-28 Thread. The Stingray Nonlinear Compensator is produced from 4140 steel for .223 Rem/5.56x45mm firearms with a 1/2" x 28 thread pitch. The Stingray features a series of porting channels that run both parallel and vertical with and to the bore. The parallel channels also feature a series of gas expansion chambers along their length. Available in QPQ Black Nitride, TiN Titanium Nitride, and Stainless Steel finish.

The vertical and parallel channels are also threaded creating an uneven surface within the device that assist in disrupting gas flow and reducing flash signature. This is called Disruptive Venting. Two patented Trefoil shaped ports are positioned on the top of the Stingray and gas is specifically channel to them so that they vent vertically and control muzzle rise. The patented Trefoil pattern creates three prongs that sit within the porting area and assist in disrupting gas flow further and thus reducing flash signature through these vents.
