Description: Mountain Tactical Tikka T3/T3x Gen2 Performance Series OEM Bottom Metal. Manufactured from 6061 aerospace grade aluminum and finished in a Type III Mil-Spec hard anodized black finish, this Mountain Tactical Performance Series bottom metal is designed for the Tikka T3 and T3x rifles chambered in various calibers such as .300 Win Mag, .338 Win Mag, .308 Win, .25-06 Rem, .222 Remington, .223 Rem, and more. This OEM style replacement piece is perfect for upgrading from the standard plastic bottoms of the T3 models, eliminating flexing and magazine issues. This bottom also features a widened trigger guard to enhance the safety of the rifle by making it more difficult to accidentally discharge the rifle while eliminating some sympathetic muscle movement upon trigger pull.

I own a Tikka T3 Stainless in 300WSM and I discovered that the Metal bottom was plastic. I wanted a more durable lower trigger plate assembly and replaced plastic with aluminum alloy and also replaced the outdated stock screws with the new generation one. I am more confident that when I hunt with my rifle, I will not fracture the bottom plate trigger housing in case I drop the rifle when I hunt. Fits like a charm no need to modify the stock. drop in eazzy peezy.

very pleased with fit and finish . fit is better than oem plastic part . I was having an issue with the magazine not releasing smoothly , this new part took care of the issue. I also like the trigger guard . If you have a tikka buy this.
