This Mountain Tactical Performance Series Gen 4 bolt shroud is manufactured for the Tikka T3 and T3x rifles chambered in various calibers such as .300 Win Mag, .338 Win Mag, .308 Win, .25-06 Rem, .222 Remington, .223 Rem, and more. Produced from 6061-T6 billet aluminum with a type III Mil-Spec hard anodized finish, this bolt shroud also features increased durability with a level of increased precision that allows for the firearm to perform better over the factory plastic shroud. The design of the shroud's outside diameter was matched to the inside diameter for creating perfect alignment of the bolt to enhance concentricity of the cartridge to the chamber - so the benefit is the same as having a three lug bolt to insure alignment to the axis of the bore.
