Description: Tandemkross Cornerstone Rotary Safety Ruger 10/22. This rotary safety upgrade is made from black or red anodized aluminum and is designed for the Ruger 10/22 rifle and Ruger 22 Charger pistol. The Cornerstone's levers on both sides of the firearm visibly show a clear difference between SAFE and FIRE to the user and those standing nearby. You can also switch between SAFE and FIRE while maintaining a firm grip on the firearm with your shooting hand. A rotary safety helps ensure a change in the firearm's state must be intentional and helps to make it safer.

NOTE: TANDEMKROSS's Cornerstone Rotary Safety is only compatible with factory Ruger 10/22 or 22 Charger polymer trigger housings (standard and BX).

Installation was not difficult, a 5 minute job assuming you've done careful preparation and study of the trigger assembly. Function is amazing, as a left-handed shooter it was a game changer and made handling the 10/22 much smoother. The trigger area needs to be treated with greater care to not bump between modes so be aware of that larger interface area for the safety mechanism. Not sure if it's compatible with all extended mag release levers that go over the trigger guard but I'm confident it would work with most of them I've seen. The two set screws that hold the paddles are the only potential weakness I've identified. They can't be permanently affixed because they must be removed to service the rifle, so I'm concerned in time that could become an issue. Don't strip those threads! Overall I'm pleased with this upgrade, from fit and finish to operation on the range.
