Description: Tandemkross Ruger PC Carbine Fiber Optic Front Sight. This fiber optic front sight is manufactured for the Ruger PC Carbine rifles chambered in 9mm and .40 S&W. This sight features a highly visible fiber optic light tube for quick target acquisition and is made of aluminum for increased and lasting durability. Included with this sight a pre-installed green light pipe and an included extra red light pipe.

The fiber optic sight lights up the front sight so as to give a much improved sight picture. Has significant enhanced my shooting accuracy, and my time at the gun range. I can honestly this one of the best improvements I have made to my Ruger PC carbine

Though I wish this sight utilized both screws. I can see 100% better and am able to create 1/2 groups at 25 yds off hand very quickly.

The Ruger PC carbine is very sensitive to how it is held. The optics are attached to the receiver, the open sights to the barrel. The takedown feature is likely the culprit for what I observed. After extensive shooting (> 1000 rds), I determined that the optics could not be zeroed properly. How the carbine is held/rested can vary ~ 7 inches in POI (Point Of Impact) @ 100 yds. This was done in a statistically significant set of groups. The open sights, being on the barrel, are not subject to this variation. Thus, I ordered the Tandemkross fiber optics. This option seems the best compromise. While group sizes are approximately twice that of the optics option, the POI is identical no matter how the carbine is held/rested. The attachment by a single screw is somewhat concerning, as it does not appear to be as rugged as the two screw attachment of the original sight. I replaced the green fiber optic with a red, which is more visible to me and the spousal unit. The red fiber optic covers a 100 yd small bore rifle target at 50 yds. I have sighted as hold on, vs 6 o'clock. This is the setup I have chosen to go with for the Ruger PC carbine.
