Description: Winchester SX4 Compact Stock, 12 & 20ga. Black. Molded from a rugged black polymer material, this stock is for the Winchester Super X4 Compact model shotgun chambered in 12 or 20 gauge. This stock includes a pre-installed sling eyelet and a pre-installed recoil pad. This factory original stock works great with a matching black forearm.
Note: It is recommended that all Winchester parts be installed by a qualified and trained gunsmith.

Doesn’t reduce the length of pull as much as most compact stocks. I found out at least on the new SX4 I just bought that I did not need to order a “compact “ action tube. The compact action tube that arrived was the same length as the tube in my full size SX4. So I just cut the threaded action spring retainer a bit shorter to fit the pad on, I also put the full size pad back on because it was soft and gives a little more surface area. Comb height is very low and shims are not available. Winchester should figure out a way to better fit the gun to shooters. I did order a replacement action spring retainer just in case I wanted to convert it back to full size again
