Description: Winchester SXP 12ga. Forearm, Black. Crafted from quality black polymer, this forearm is produced for the Winchester SXP 12 gauge shotguns. This forend features detailed stippling along the forearm for a firm point of contact during the shotguns operation. The forend attaches to the slide arm extension and allows for manual operation of the shotgun. This piece is perfect as a spare on the workbench or as an immediate replacement for a lost or damaged part.

Longer Forend for the Win SXP Degender

I had recently purchased a Winchester SXP Defender and the original forend is a very short polymer corncob style. Too short and very for forward. This one is absolutely great. Feels really solid, feels better when shouldering the shotgun and racking the action and you can carry the shotgun one handed gripping this forend fright in front of the receiver. Just like my bird guns. But of course is you wanted to run a shell carrier on the receiver, you couldn't with this forend. Otherwise is 100% better that the original. Thanks MGW!

I replaced the stock, short forearm on the Winchester SXP Defender. I like the additional length on this forearm which allows for the grip position I am used to. A little heat with a hair dryer helped with the removal of the nut which secures the grip and the rest of the swap is easy.

I bought a Winchester SXP Defender in FDE as an all around shotgun since it has the interchangeable chokes. But with the small forearm that I had to reach for it messed up my shooting form and performance. I was really disappointed! So I went looking for a full size forearm that I could swap out for the small one and this was perfect! Now I can hold the shotgun like I always have with my offhand closer to the receiver. Now I'm busting clay pigeons again! This was a perfect swap! The biggest challenge was getting the nut off of the slide rail so that I could trade the forearms out. And I think the FDE finish with the black forearm looks good, since I have a black elastic shellholder on the butt stock.
