The slide arm, with the slide arm extension, transfers the shooter's pumping action of the forearm to the bolt assembly to cycle the shotgun. This item is made to the same quality specifications as other Winchester parts found in your firearm. Came with rust on the side of the slide arm. I wiped it all down with ballistol so hope that helped stop further rusting. Product works as it should so far. Can only hope it doesn’t break again like the original.
