Description: Winchester SXP 12 & 20 ga. Hammer. Forged from durable steel, this hammer is manufactured for the Winchester SXP 12 & 20 gauge pump shotguns. The hammer strikes the firing pin after the trigger is pulled and is perfect as a spare on the workbench or as an immediate replacement for a lost or damaged component.
Note: It is recommended that all Winchester parts be installed by a qualified and trained gunsmith.

Fixed non-firing sxp

If you have an sxp that quits firing this is the part you need. The aluminum bushings will round out and the hammer won’t reset correctly. It’s a little fiddle putting the hammer back in but there are tutorials on YouTube.

The new hammer and side bushings are pressed together to make it solid. The old ones were just assembled and would loosen up until the gun would not release the hammer.
