Description: Volquartsen S&W SW22 Victory Laminated Grips. Available in a variety of colors, these laminated grips fit Smith and Wesson SW22 Victory .22 LR pistols. Designed to give the shooter a relaxed and steady hold, these grips feature heelrest, thumbrest, and finger grooves for right handed shooters. CNC-machined from laminated wood, these grips weigh approximately 3 oz. An extended magazine release is included with the grips. For over 40 years, Volquartsen Firearms has set the standard for precision firearms and aftermarket accessories. The grips as delivered are very nice, but I did substantial carving and sanding to get a perfect grip. I would call these excellent blanks for customization to perfectly fit your hand. Don't be afraid to work on them; it's like working a high end composite material, which it essentially is due to the first class layup. One note...if you're planning on rapid firing, they position your right hand to accidentally hit the safety, which I now understand is a common problem. It comes up on various SW22 message boards. I solved it with a Tandemcross Thumb Bridge safety addition. Some people are fine with thumb bridge safety (me), and some really hate it. So, it's something to consider if you're looking to turn this into a race gun. For me, these grips are superb.

I installed them and then with some wood files and fine sandpaper personalized for my hand. Finished them with gun oil. Perfect.

I think the gun feels 100% better with these grips, now if the factory would return my gun with the ejection problems fixed and ammo was available I'd be in hog heaven.

I've tried other options but these Laminated Grips by Volquartsen are by far and away the best for me. MGW has the best price of anyone and I would recommend these with no reservation. I did find out my factory grip screws were partialy stripped so for good measure my Gunsmith has ordered 4 new ones so if you buy the grips I'd suggest new screws just to be safe. MGW is the place to buy these grips.
