Built with hardened chromoly steel for maximum durability and reliability, this replacement sight provides an improved sighting picture as well as reliable adjustments that guarantee a perfect fit in any revolver frame. More than just durable and dependable, it will also ensure that you are always ready for whatever comes your way. Upgrade your gun's potential with this heavy-duty sight engineered for effortless field adjustments. It features abundant elevation and windage change which can be installed quickly, while the rear blade comes in either a square or U-notch to suit all needs. So the 2020 colt python has always had a problem with the factory installed rear sight, but the 2023 Python's are meticulous and quite beautiful. For some reason they must've made 1 million of these tear sights and they just don't fit tightly, so, like the united auto workers, are going to use these parts until the end of time. It's a huge faux pas, so in the infinite wisdom of Bill Wilson, he created a site that is superb. Now before you go removing by punching the pin out of the top strap, make sure you have the right tools no steel punches. Be sure you properly tape everything off and take your time or otherwise one will open the top strap rolled pin area and scratch the side of the top strap. It will be very difficult to match the factory finish in stainless. I've owned many pythons from 1957 on, and couldn't be happier with this sight replacement, but you have to replace the factory site if you want the best accuracy of the Python.
