Description: Wilson Combat 5.56 Bolt Carrier Assembly, Phosphate. Showcasing a black phosphate and parkerized finish, this Wilson Combat bolt carrier assembly is manufactured for 5.56 chambered AR-15 rifle platforms. The bolt material is Carpenter 158 steel and the assembly is a drop in fit for any quality AR rifle (.223/5.56 NATO, .300 Blackout, .204 Ruger, or 7.62X40 WT). Each individual piece is precisely machined, finished, and hardened to ensure long term proper gas system functioning and reliability. This assembly is perfect for your next custom rifle build, pair this up with a new handguard and some extra ammunition for your next range day.

Wilson Combat's bolt is precision machined from Carpenter 158, shot peened for increased strength and includes a tool steel extractor and ejector, appropriate extractor spring, and randomly batch HPT (High Pressure Tested) . 

The extractor is 4140 gun quality, annealed, cold drawn steel per the Mil-Spec. Parkerized externally and internally chrome lined the 8620 steel carrier includes a proper machined Mil-Spec gas key that is chrome lined, phosphated and heat treated per GI specifications. It is secured to the carrier via Grade 8 fasteners and properly staked in our shop during final inspection. These precisely machined, finished and hardened parts will ensure long term proper gas system functioning and reliability. All experienced AR shooters know that the best spare parts kit for an AR-15 rifle is a spare complete bolt carrier assembly!

The fit and finish of the Wilson Combat bolt carrier exceeds the standards set by most all manufactures, only Colt combat M4E1's are on par at a much higher price. For the mere $179 your carrier and key are beautifully chrome lined. Most others would charge this amount just for the chrome lined carrier itself. The bolt to carrier fit is exceptionally tight, no slop. Wilson install's a spiral type gas ring system that does not have any blow by issues that split rings can have. The Phosphate finish is deep and even giving a tough finished surface. Wilson even includes a spare extractor rubber donut for those who use such items. All-in-all, this is an exception value from a top flight company that stands behind their product line. And yes I would by this again, and again.

Great mil-spec bcg. Chrome lined and staked. Added it to my all Wilson Combat build and it ran flawlessly. Only been to the range once but, 100 rounds without a malfunction is a very good start. Love it so far.

Shipping took a few more days than expected but that's def not MGWs fault. Usps is backed up and it's understandable. As far as the bcg, the finish is great. No random tooling marks or unfinished parts of the coating. Chrome lining looks great without using a bore scope. Install of the o-ring on the ejector was a bit tough, maybe because it was new. Fired without issues.
