Description: Smith & Wesson J/K/L/N/X-Frame Bolt Plunger Spring. Constructed from quality steel, this OEM factory original bolt plunger spring is manufactured for the Smith & Wesson revolver line including the J, K, L, X, and N frame models chambered in various calibers such as .41 Rem Mag, .44 Special, .45 Colt, .357 Mag and more. Located between the bolt and bolt plunger, this piece retains and releases tension during the bolts operation. This top notch spring is perfect as a spare on the workbench or as an immediate replacement for a lost or damaged component.

This was a replacement part because of a ham handed home gunsmith got distracted when taking out the cylinder latch components. Ordered delivered quick and easy.
PS youll need the plunger that goes with it, because when it goes the plunger goes too
