MDT XRS Chassis System, CZ 457 RH, FDE

In my quest to squeeze out the last bit of accuracy in my CZ 457 I was dreading doing a bedding job. Decided on a chassis instead. In my research I found the MDT using an aluminium V-Block bedding that is rock solid. A little heavy but I'm not walking around with it, I use it from the bench. Really a quailty chassis system. It has a very generous barrel channel, my .900 barrel looks small in there. The jard trigger safety has clearance with no issues. You dont use the factory CZ bottom metal with the XRS chassis. I needed a slightly longer hex key for my torque wrench to get to the rear action screw. The adjustable cheek rest feels a little cheap, buts works very well. I didn't add any spacers to the stock, like I said I shoot from the bench. All in all, It's a great chassis. There are cheaper chassis systems out there with similar features but..... Like the old saying goes "Buy once, cry once" You will get what you pay for.
