Description: Smith & Wesson J-Frame Mainspring Stirrup. Constructed from quality stainless steel, this OEM factory original mainspring stirrup is manufactured for the J Frame revolvers chambered in .38 Special and .357 Mag. Once installed, the mainspring stirrup functions by aligning the mainspring and pushes the hammer forward in conjunction with the trigger being pulled. This piece is perfect as a spare for the workshop, or as an immediate replacement for a lost or damaged part.

Received the Smith & Wesson J-Frame Mainspring Stirrup quickly and installed in my customers S&W 638 in no time. Achieved smooth & easy trigger pull with new springs, and a happy customer.
