Description: Smith & Wesson J-Frame Hand Assembly. Constructed from quality steel, this OEM factory original hand assembly is manufactured for the J Frame revolvers chambered in .38 Special and .357 Mag. Installed onto the trigger, this component functions by rotating the cylinder to align the chamber with the hammer. This assembly includes the hand and hand pin.

I've never heard of a the hand on a Smith and Wesson breaking before, but mine did. This one was just what I needed and now my revolver runs like new.

Seems like replacement parts are going away for the guns 20 yrs and older (like cars older that 5-8 years). Parts that wear out on a favorite gun need to be purchased and stored by the owner if they want a functional gun a whole lifetime. This part is perfect and in my reserve box ready for the future.
