Through several HK internet forums, I learned that the standard paddle magazine release lever on the USP can be replaced with the slightly larger magazine release that is standard on the HK45 Compact. At first, I ordered a few of these, and sure enough, success. It is very easy to replace the standard USP magazine release with this larger model, maybe five minutes at most. When more became available, I ordered more as I have several USPs, full-size and compact, and this part works as a replacement for both. The difference is quite noticeable, and I find the larger magazine release to be of benefit. MGW had these in stock at a very reasonable price, with reasonable shipping cost. Other online sources were either out-of-stock (even HK-USA webshop), or their price was 2 - 3 times that of MGW! MGW has become my go-to for parts such as this, and other items as well. They have fair prices, quick shipping, and do a great overall job!

I installed this myself in less than 5 minutes. It’s an easy install that made a HUGE difference on my USPC. If you are annoyed with the tiny mag release, you’ll love the difference.
