Description: Smith & Wesson M&P, and SDVE Extractor Spring. This extractor spring is created of a strong steel and is a factory original component from Smith & Wesson. The extractor spring is made for both the Full Sized and Compact versions of the M&P M2.0 9 / 40 / 45 models of pistols from Smith & Wesson chambered in 9mm, .40 S&W, & .45 ACP respectively. The spring applies tension to the extractor to allow proper function in chambering a round. This spring is perfect for use in an emergency replacement stash and can be great to have in the spare parts chest. This item is proudly made in the USA by Smith & Wesson.

Customers M&P 2.0 slide wascaent out for an RMRcc milling job, came back missing the extractor, spring and pin, Midwest is the perfect industry partner to quickly access the factory replacement parts for me to get my customers M&P up running and off to the range, good as new !

The spring provided is significantly longer than the weak one it replaced. Initially it was so tight that the gun wouldn't go into battery, because the round wouldn't go under the extractor. I took it off and ground off about .030", and it then functioned perfectly.
