This stripped upper assembly is constructed from aluminum with a black anodized finish, and will fit the Heckler and Koch MR556 chambered in 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington as well as the AR-15. The upper is a factory original HK part manufactured in Germany. Heckler & Koch is world renowned for their high quality firearms and parts. I really like the part overall. Out of the box, it looks great, and I’m excited to put everything together.
The only issue I had is that the product was not advertised as having any blemishes. When I received it, there was a small dent/minor blemish that was not shown or mentioned in the listing. It’s not a dealbreaker, and I can live with it, but I do wish the listing had included actual photos of the specific item or clearly stated that it had cosmetic imperfections.
Overall, I’m still happy with the part, but the listing could have been more accurate.
