FNH Five Seven Magazine Catch Kit, Reversible Black

I have a FiveseveN USG I bought way back when they first hit the market. The mag catch spring failed on it, so it sat in the safe waiting for one of these for years. Finally got one! Easy to install and SUPER EFFECTIVE at holding the magazine in place! Next step: a threaded barrel to attach the suppressor! W00T!

FN put out a tool to help install this. The tool makes it very easy to set up. Can confirm that tool is not needed though. Just have to use a pin push and get lucky on the alignment. Once installed works great.

Part arrived

This is a fine drop-in replacement part for the magazine release. The part is metal and not plastic. Be aware that with certain magazines, such as promag, you may experience issues with the magazines becoming unseated during firing, so if you use this, try and stick with factory FN magazines!
