I'm ole' former US Marine graduated MCRD P.I, SC 02/01/68. So, I have wanted a M-14/M1A rifle for a very long time. I finally bought one without the bayonet lug, as new rifles DO NOT have the lug. I purchased this little item from MGW for $48.75 plus $6.99 shipping for a total of $55.74. Made in Korea. The USA sold most M-14 tool & die to So. Korea, years ago, that's why! Now I have a new rifle (not some shot out pre-ban) with all the features of the original M-14 rifle I was issued in 11/67. Easy to install, watch video DON'T forget the set screw!
