Description: Rock River Arms Match Rear Sight Hood. Constructed from durable steel, these match rear sight hoods are designed by Rock River Arms for the AR-15 firearm platform utilizing the A2-style rear sight. These sight hoods thread to the rear aperture using a 1/4" x 28 thread pitch and provide eye relief by blocking the sun's light from reflecting off the aperture. The hoods also provide smaller aperture diameters for a more accurate sight picture. These hoods are available in .030, .046, and .052 aperture diameters.

As I age I noticed a .040 aperture hood was getting harder to focus on. The new .050 is as well made as the original and easier to see thru!
